On a recent trip to Nashville, we stopped off at the Willie Nelson and Friends Museum and General Store. They’re open seven days a week, and the adult admission price is only $8, This is one of the best values in Nashville. Every visitor receives a detailed four-page guide that describes all the exhibits and items you’ll see as you tour the museum.
Toward the rear right side of the museum, I was surprised to see a David Allan Coe display. The exhibit included a pair of Davids boots and a hat along with some photographs of David.
The first thing I notice is something that has always been a big pet peeve of David Allan Coe; That would be the misspelling of his middle name. Often people replace the A with an E in Allan. Funny is in this text you will see it spelled both ways.
The bottom line is the show of respect to David Allan Coe from Willie Nelson means a lot to country music.
